Our Hex Signs feature authentic designs by "Zook's Dutch Novelties". Hex Signs are most often associated with the Pennsylvania Dutch because of their barn paintings in the Lancaster County area in eastern Pennsylvania. They are believed to bring "good luck and fortune" if displayed.
Hex Signs make great decorative additions to your home, garage, shed, or barn. The signs are constructed using a sturdy Masonite material making them great for indoor & outdoor display. The vibrant durable designs are applied to the hex signs with a silk screening process.
Hex Sign Hanging & Care Instructions :
All of our hex signs have a hole in the center for easy screw or nail placement. For larger hex signs, you may want to place screws or nails on either edge of the sign for better stability in windy areas and to prevent rotation.
For added protection the back and edges of the hex sign can be sealed with outdoor paint or other weather resistant sealant. The front should not be sealed because it is protected by the design.
